LA/TM-049 Holtankollen

My goal for today was to check in to the Norwegian QRP net on 5.335MHz and also do some regular sota activating. I managed to erect the 88 ft doublet just in time for the net start at 11.00 utc. LB1AF was the net controller and LA1EOA, LA1IC, LB9YE, LA8EMA and I checked in.

After the net I QSYed to 5.298,5MHz and started to call CQ. I worked 7 G/GW/GM stations before QSYing to 7.118MHz where I worked 4 more stations. The QRM turned louder and louder so I QSYed to 7.115MHz but didn't get any answers. I also called for a while on 3.655MHz before heading home.

Thanks to GW7AAV and G0TDM for spots on sotawatch!

5MHz: 12 QSOs
7MHz: 4 QSOs
DXCCs: LA, GW, G, GM, ON

  1. I hear 5MHZ is good band for QRP SSB operating, thats a good idea to check into the net and its given you a good number of QSO's. Sean M0GIA
